Cleaning and care instructions
After use, rinse with hot water as soon as possible.
Soak stubborn food residues and gently remove
them with a sponge or brush.
To remove really stubborn food residue, boil a lit-
tle water and washing-up liquid in the cookware.
Please do not use steel wool or abrasive scouring
agents.
You can clean cookware with a Fusiontec surface
in the dishwasher.
This can lead to discolouration of the plastic
handles and the surface, but it does not impair
the function. We therefore recommend cleaning
by hand.
Dry the cookware well before storing it.
Stack the pots inside each other, so that the
handles sit on the rim.
Where possible, do not store the lid directly on
top of the pot.
Preparation instructions
Cooking in little water
This gentle form of preparation uses very little
liquid for cooking vegetables or other food in the
covered pot. To prevent steam from escaping and
interrupting the water steam cycle, the firmly
closed insertable lid must not be removed.
Cooking in little water is ideal for vegetables, fish,
poultry or fresh meat. This cooking method largely
retains the vitamins, minerals and trace minerals
because they are not released into the water and
all foodstuffs retain their individual taste. General-
ly you do not need to add cooking salt.
Low-fat frying
When frying with fat, always put the fat into
the cold pot and then heat it up on a high heat.
Distribute the fat evenly by rotating the pot. When
streaks appear in the fat or it starts to smoke
slightly, add the unseasoned meat to the cookware
and press it onto the base. Turn down the heat on
the hob. Wait until the protein has coagulated and
the pores of the meat are closed. As soon as an
appetising crust has formed, the meat will detach
itself from the base and you can turn it easily.
Dab the food carefully before you fry it to avoid
hot oil splashes. Do not overheat the fat.
Fry for 8-10 minutes on each side with the lid
