2.9 Auto Steam (optional)
Milk is heated or foamed using the Auto Steam option.
Milk can be foamed directly to the set milk foam quality by
means of the steam button. Alternatively, aselection of up
to 3foam quality levels can be opened.
Potential milk foam qualities are:
• standard
• fine
• superfine
There is also an extra milk button with Auto Steam.
Heat milk or foam milk
 Fill atall, narrow jug with the desired milk volume
Do not fill the jug above the halfway point, so that the
milk will not run over when it foams.
 Insert the steam nozzle deep into the milk
 Briefly touch the desired Auto Steam button
Steam is discharged, depending on the Auto Steam button
allocation.
Steam dispensing ends after reaching the set temperature,
or when the Auto Steam button is touched again.
 Wipe steam outlet with adamp cloth
Burn hazard/scalding hazard
• Milk and foam can boil over if the temperature
is set to 90°C.
> Fill the jug no more than half full.
Tip
> Do not overheat milk when foaming, otherwise
milk foam volume decreases.
