Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning the brewing unit
CAUTION. Burn hazard.
The brewing unit must cool down before cleaning.
Clean the brewing unit regularly.
Switch off the coffee machine with the on / off button and unplug the power cord

Open the brewer lid by pressing on the center rear button of the top panel > [1]
> Grip the brewing unit at the top with the thumb and forefi nger [2]
Release the brewing unit catch with the forefi nger
> [2]
Remove the brewing unit by lifting it straight up

Use the multitool from the accessories.
Unscrew the thread on the brewing unit head
> [4] with the multitool [5] turning counterclockwise
The wiper will fold out forward, and the brewing sieve is now visible
Clean the brewing fi lter under running tap water or with a cloth

Rinse the brewing unit under running tap water
> [6]
NOTICE. Risk to machine.
Never clean the brewing unit in a dishwasher and never use any cleaner additives.
