Chapter 6 Care
The care of your WMF 1000 is especially important. The
display notifies you as soon as the WMF 1000 must be
rinsed, cleaned or descaled.
6.1 Care program, general
When switching the machine on and off, an automatic
coffee system rinse starts automatically. This requires
that there always be sufficient water in the water tank
(200 ml per rinse). The rinse water is caught in the drip
tray. Empty the drip tray regularly or place a container
(min. 200 ml) under the all-in-one spout during the rinse.
After each brewing cycle, in the heating up phase and
during the care programs, so-called release water runs
into the drip tray. This rinses any remaining coffee from
the pipes. This is a completely normal procedure and not
an error in the coffee machine.
