Troubleshooting
displays a message saying that the flash memory is full.
Solution:
The flash memory of the Pen must be reformatted. Pen
components that were in the flash memory will be deleted in
the process and must be copied onto the Pen again. Pen
components that were on the ROM will remain, but may
need to be updated. The data that was on the Pen may also
be deleted.
To reformat the Pen:
1. Turn on the Pen. While the “Flash format error”
message is displayed, press 3. The Pen displays the
following message:
<Enter>Format Flash
<ESC>Cancel
2. Press 2. A status bar appears, indicating the progress
of the reformatting process. When the bar disappears,
the Pen is reformatted.
After the Pen is reformatted, run the Customization Wizard
and any updates you previously used, and reinstall any
additional components the Pen contained before. If data that
was deleted from the Pen is stored on your computer, you
can use the QuickLink option to restore it to the Pen.
