isimportanttokeepyoureyesonthecomputeratalltimestopreventtheft.
•Considerbringinganelectricaladapterforuseinanairplaneorautomobile.
•Ifyoucarryanacpoweradapter,detachtheaccordfromittoavoiddamagingthecord.
Traveltipsonairplanes
Ifyoucarryyourcomputerintoanairplane,takenoteofthefollowingtips:
•Ifyouintendtouseyourcomputerorwirelessservices(suchasInternetandBluetooth),checkwiththe
airlineforrestrictionsandavailabilityofservicesbeforeboardingtheairplane.Iftherearerestrictions
ontheuseofcomputerswithwirelessfeaturesontheairplane,youmustabidebythoserestrictions.If
necessary,enabletheAirplanemodebeforeboarding.IntheAirplanemode,allwirelessfeaturesare
disabled.ToenabletheAirplanemode,opentheStartmenuandthenclickSettings.IfSettingsisnot
displayed,clickAllappstodisplayallprograms,andthenclickSettings➙Network&Internet➙
Airplanemode,andthenslidethecontroltotheright.
•Becarefulabouttheseatinfrontofyouonairplanes.Angleyourcomputerdisplaysothatitdoesnotget
caughtwhenthepersoninfrontofyouleansback.
•Whentakingoff,remembertoturnoffyourcomputerorputitintohibernationmode.
