Insertthememorymoduleintothememoryslotatanangleofabout20degrees
1.Pivotthememory
moduledownwarduntilitsnapsintoplace2.Ensurethatthememorymoduleisfirmlyinstalledin
thememoryslotandcannotbemovedeasily.
Attention:Donottouchthecontactedgeofthememorymodule.Otherwisethememorymodule
mightgetdamaged.
6.Reinstallthebasecoverassembly.
7.Turnthecomputeroveragain.Connecttheacpoweradapterandallcablestothecomputer.
Replacingtheinternalstoragedrive
Beforeyoustart,printtheseinstructions.Readtheimportantsafetyinformationfirst.See“Important
safetyinformation”onpagevi.
Attention:Theinternalstoragedrive(harddiskdrive,solid-statedrive,orhybriddrive)issensitive.Incorrect
handlingcancausedamageandpermanentlossofdata.Observethefollowingguidelines:
•Replacethestoragedriveonlyifyouupgradeitorhaveitrepaired.Theconnectorsandslotofthestorage
drivearenotdesignedforfrequentchanges,ordriveswapping.
•Donotdropthedriveorsubjectittophysicalshocks.Putthedriveonamaterial,suchassoftcloth,that
absorbsanyphysicalshocks.
•Donotapplypressuretothecoverofthedrive.
•Donottouchtheconnector.
•Beforeremovingthestoragedrive,makeabackupcopyofalltheinformationonit,andthenturnoffthe
computer.
•Neverremovethedrivewhilethecomputerisoperating,insleepmode,orinhibernationmode.
Toreplacethestoragedrive,dothefollowing:
1.Disablethebuilt-inbattery.See“Disablingthebuilt-inbattery”onpage107.
2.Closethecomputerdisplay,andturnthecomputerover.
3.Removethebasecoverassembly.See“Replacingthebasecoverassembly”onpage114.
