Powerproblems
Printtheseinstructionsnowandkeeptheinstructionswithyourcomputerforreferencelater.
Ifyourcomputerisgettingnopoweratall,checkthefollowingitems:
1.Verifythepowerbutton.Referto“Statusindicators”onpage6.Thepowerbuttonislitwheneverthe
computerison.
2.Checkallpowerconnections.Removeanypowerstripsandsurgeprotectorstoconnecttheacpower
adapterdirectlytotheacpoweroutlet.
3.Inspecttheacpoweradapter.Checkforanyphysicaldamage,andensurethatthepowercableisfirmly
attachedtotheadapterbrickandthecomputer.
4.Verifytheacpowersourceisworkingbyattachinganotherdevicetotheoutlet.
Ifyourcomputerdoesnotrunonbatterypower,dothefollowing:
1.Ifthebatteryrunsoutofpower,attachacpoweradaptertorechargethebattery.
2.Ifthebatteryischargedbutthecomputerdoesnotrun,callLenovoCustomerServiceCentertohave
itserviced.
Apowerbuttonproblem
Problem:Thesystemdoesnotrespond,andyoucannotturnoffthecomputer.
Solution:Turnoffthecomputerbypressingandholdingthepowerbuttonfor4secondsormore.Ifthe
systemisstillnotreset,removetheacpoweradapterandresetthesystembyinsertingastraightenedpaper
