Ifthecoin-cellbatteryisincorrectlyreplaced,thereisdangerofanexplosion.Thecoin-cellbattery
containsasmallamountofharmfulsubstances.T oavoidpossibleinjury:
•ReplaceonlywithabatteryofthetyperecommendedbyLenovo.
•Keepthebatterypackawayfromfire.
•Donotexposeittoexcessiveheat.
•Donotexposeittowaterorrain.
•Donotshort-circuitit.
•Donotdrop,crush,puncture,orsubjecttostrongforces.Batteryabuseormishandlingcan
causethebatterytooverheat,whichcancausegassesorflameto“vent”fromthebattery
packorcoincell.
Toreplacethecoin-cellbattery,dothefollowing:
1.Turnoffyourcomputeranddisconnecttheacpoweradapterandallcablesfromthecomputer.
2.Disablethebuilt-inbattery.See“Disablingthebuilt-inbattery”onpage117.
3.Closethecomputerdisplay,andturnthecomputerover.
4.Removethebasecover.See“Replacingthebasecover”onpage119.
