Usingthengerprintreader
Dependingonthemodels,yourcomputermighthaveanintegratedngerprintreader.Byenrollingyour
ngerprintandassociatingitwithWindowspasswordbeforehand,youcanlogontothesystembyswiping
yourngeroverthereader,withouttypingapassword.Thusngerprintauthenticationcanreplace
passwordsandenablesimpleandsecureuseraccess.
Enrollingyourngerprint
Toenrollyourngerprint,dothefollowing:
1.Turnonyourcomputer.
2.OpenLenovoFingerprintsoftware
3.Followtheinstructionsonthescreentoenrollyourngerprint.

Swipingyourngeroverthereader
Toswipeyourngeroverthereaderintabletmode,dothefollowing:
1.Placetheballofyournger,thatis,thecentralpartofthengerprint,onthesmallbumpsabovethe
reader.Makesurethattheentiretopjointofthengerisonthereader.
2.Applylightpressureandswipeyourngeracrossthereaderinonesmoothmotion.
