The WiseBond
™
DEEP Pour Epoxy System is a proprietary product
designed for large 2" thick castings, art work, synthetic imitation
water, food displays and other decoupage applications requiring
a low viscosity, low heat build up, and low shrinkage. This slow
setting material cures into a very clear, hard, glossy solid. It can
be cured with very few internal bubbles, and readily accepts
dyes, pigments, UV Inhibitors and other special effects powders,
pearlescent micas and glitter. Additionally it makes an excellent
encapsulating material for display items, curios, scientific
samples, electronics, and LED lighting. The product cures very
slow which is ideal for large scale castings where excessive heat
or shrinkage cannot be tolerated. For small castings the material
can be easily accelerated by warming the epoxy containers in a
hot water bath to around 110-120°F depending on the application,
and mold material.
