The WiseBond
™
UV Stable Bar & Table Top Epoxy System is
a high performance two component clear epoxy system. This
system is designed for most table and counter tops, bar tops,
wood tables, artwork projects, see-through encapsulations,
and other applications requiring a clear, strong, plastic coating.
This epoxy is specifically designed to resist yellowing caused by
Ultra Violet light sources and the sun. The material has an easy
to use 1 to 1 by volume mix ratio. Do not mix by weight. It wets
out substrates, maintains its integrity over sharp corners, and
has excellent air release qualities. With a relatively fast set time
for an epoxy coating, the material can be easily accelerated by
warming the epoxy containers in a hot water bath to around 110-
120°F depending on the application, or mold material. While this
material will do much better than other brands for non-yellowing,
we still do not recommend it for permanent outdoor applications
unprotected from the weather elements.
