Environmental DO-160G
Testing is accomplished in accordance with DO-160G, Environmental Conditions and
Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment. The following DO-160G categories and test
conditions are based on the design of the ABR and the aircraft antennas for the
intended installation inside or outside of the pressure vessel. The Radio contains no
lithium battery. The ABR is designed to operate in airframe areas that meet the
environmental conditions outlined in the DO-160G Table 2.1-1 below. It is the
responsibility of the installer to ensure the selected location meets the environmental
conditions. The ABR and antennas are not designed to be installed in wings or wheel
well areas.
See Table 2.1-1and 2.1-2 for the applicable WSS System DO-160 requirements.
