After a few moments, the Mason will recognize the ﬁrmware ﬁle and this

window will pop-up, showing the version of the new ﬁrmware.

5. To proceed with the ﬁrmware update, use the arrow buttons on the re-

mote to choose ʻYesʼ and then press the ʻEnterʼ button. (to cancel with-

out updating, choose ʻNoʼ instead.)

The ﬁrmware update will begin, and the progress will be shown in the

window. It typically takes about two minutes for the update to complete.

Do not turn off the Mason or unplug the USB ﬂash drive while the ﬁrm-

ware is being updated; interrupting the update could cause your Mason

to malfunction.

6. When the update is ﬁnished, you will be prompted to restart the Mason

by switching the power off and back on again.
