C.3e (13xxx) Accumulator
Error Description
13000 “Stack Error”
WHAT HAPPENED
A sheet entering the Accumulator, has not entered the accumulator ramp
sensor/accumulator stack sensor and left within 500 msec.
ACTION TO TAKE
Check for any obstruction along the paper path at the entrance to the
accumulator.
Check setup and adjustment of the accumulator ramp sensor sensor.
ANY ADJUSTMENTS - None.
13001 “Misfeed Error”
WHAT HAPPENED
When dumping the Accumulator, the pack leaving the accumulator is not
sensed within a No Dump timeout by the accumulator
sensor/accumulator presence sensor.
ACTION TO TAKE
Check for the correct Accumulator Dump Clutch On Time, Engin Value

Check operation of the accumulator clutch and brake in the Test IO144
screen.
Check setup and adjustment of the accumulator sensor/accumulator
presence sensor.
ANY ADJUSTMENTS - None. The No Dump time is calculated based on
the length of the sheet entered in System Setup and the speed of the
accumulator.
13003 “Max Accu. Pages Exceeded - Remove Pack”
WHAT HAPPENED
The count of the pages entering the accumulator at the accumulator
ramp sensor/accumulator stack sensor exceed Maximum Accumulator
Pages.
ACTION TO TAKE
The pack must be removed from the accumulator, from under the
accumulator sensor to proceed with operation.
ANY ADJUSTMENTS - Maximum Accumulator Pages can be adjusted in
the Accumulator Setup Screen. This value can be adjusted to 14 for a
Normal accumulator and to 99 for a Flats accumulator.
13004 “Package Size Exceeded”
WHAT HAPPENED
In No Read, Fixed Page Count, the count of sheets entering the
accumulator at the accumulator ramp sensor/accumulator stack sensor
has exceeded the Package Size entered in System Setup.
ACTION TO TAKE
The pack must be inspected or removed from the accumulator.
ANY ADJUSTMENTS
Check that Feeder Setup Double Detect is On.
Check the operation of the Double Detect sensor.
Check the setup of the Optical Double Detect sensor.
Check the Max Double Detect Count Engin Value 33.
-This should be 1 for an Ultrasonic Double Detect sensor.
-For an Optical Double Detect sensor, this should be set to a minimum
that disallows false detection through printed sheets.
