Inserter Control Module. When the pack aligns with an Insert station that
it is supposed to get an insert from the ‘<‘ changes to the number of the
Inserter Station Select it is aligned with.
Example:

Inserter Monitor
Displays events regarding inserter information.

Ins Stations:
4, 6, 4+4, 6+4, 4+6, 4+4+4 – Choose Inserter configuration.
Xfer at Stations:
Normally set to “Open (Open Feed)” for when the 420T places the folded
documents directly on the inserter track. When using open feed, the
selected number represents the number of stations from where the
package was placed until it reaches the first insert station
Set Xfer At Stations = 0 for Gripper, “1” - “9” for “Open” (Open Feed).
Xfer Type:
Select “Open” for open feed station.
Select “Gripper” (Inserter takes the folded document from the 420T in an
inserter gripper station)
Encoder Type (Inserter Encoder):
Select 100 Tick (default) or 36 Tick
Logic :
775 – 420T control of 775 Inserter functions, station Select, Envelope
Disable, Envelope Flap Detect Disable, InkMark, Divert, Postal Meters.
AC/DC – 420T control of non-775 Inserter functions, station Select,
Envelope Disable, Envelope Flap Detect Disable, InkMark, Divert, Postal
Meters.
Demand Type:
Switch:
Select when demand signal is provided by a magnetic switch
Degree:
Select when demand signal is provided by an encoder
Serial:
Select when demand signal is provided serially through an RS232
interface by an inserter.
