This is the zero, ‘0’, degree position, the Inserter Home position.
• Note the Degree Display is 0 when the gripper arm is fully into the pocket
IF NOT REPEAT THE PROCESS
E.2 Removal of insterter's Hopper Side Plates
NOTE: View of Inserter Hopper is from rear of inserter.
• 1. Remove four screws holding side plate adjustment shaft blocks.
• 2. Remove shaft E-clips.
• 3. Unlock right side plate and slide off end of shaft.
• 4. Slide left side plate out to end of shah (near adjustment knob). The
shaft and side plate now may be removed (you may find it necessary to
turn the plate and shaft to free it from the inserter).
E.2a REMOVE HOPPER GUIDE
• 1. Remove cover directly behind insert station.
• 2. Unlock mount, remove outer snap rings.
• 3. Slide shaft to right, the left side mounting bracket will drop down under
the inserter deck.
• 4. Slide shaft to left, the right side bracket will drop.
• 5. Remove rear plate. Remove two phillips head screws holding T-plate
in place, remove T-plate.
E.2b remove singulator finger
NOTE: View of Singulator Finger is from the front of the Inserter.
• 1. Cycle the inserter so that the gripper arm is at its furthest point from
hopper area.
• 2. Loosen singulator finger, then rotate it away from hopper and to right.
• 3. Remove suction cup. Loosen the cup mount and swing it down away
from the hopper area. Do not tighten yet.
