Proc es sor Num ber Fea ture
This fea ture when en abled al lows soft ware to read the unique Proc es sor Se rial number pres ent on
the In tel proc es sors.
Quick Power On Self Test (POST)
This op tion, when en abled, speeds up the POST dur ing power up. The BIOS will shorten and/or
skip some items dur ing POST.
First Boot De vice
This op tions al lows for se lec tion of the pri mary or “First” boot de vice. The BIOS will at tempt to
boot from this de vice first. The menu se lec tion are :
Floppy
LS120
HDD-0
SCSI
CD- ROM
HDD-1
HDD-2
HDD-3
ZIP100
LAN
Dis abled
Note : Not all of these de vices will be avail able and se lec tion of a non ex ist ent de vice may re sult in a
dras tic in crease in boot time.
Sec ond Boot De vice
This op tion al lows for se lec tion of the sec on dary choice for boot me dia us age. The op tions are iden -
ti cal to those given above for the “First Boot De vice”.
Third Boot De vice
This op tion al lows for se lec tion of a third choice of boot me dia. The op tions are the same as for the
pre vious two menu items.
Boot Other De vice
The op tion when en abled al lows other de vices with self- contained boot firmware to be come the pri -
mary boot me dia.
