2.15 IDE Hard Disk In ter face
The EBC- BX sup ports stan dard IDE fixed disks through the I/O con nec tors at J5 (pri mary) and J8
(sec on dary). The EBC- BX sup ports mul ti ple PIO modes as well as Ultra- DMA (UDMA)33 and
UDMA 66 drives when used with an UDMA 80- pin ca ble (Win Sys tems P/N CBL- 126- 10). A red ac -
tiv ity LED is pres ent at D3 and D2 for the pri mary and sec on dary hard drive con trol lers re s pec tively.
