Technical information

Electrical cables must be of a
suitably armoured type. Ensure that
they are protected from damage and
are not liable to be tripped over.
Use only with an RCD protected
supply. Only connect via special
feeding point (e.g. power distribution
panel on building site with
fault-current-breaker).
Before starting the power unit,
the drum control lever must
be midway between the MIX
and DISCHARGE positions.
Electric motor operation
Where an electric drive is used, the motor
must be connected to run in an
anti-clockwise direction when viewed from
the control side of the mixer.
Engine operation
Before starting the engine:
Check the amount of fuel in the tank.
Check that the lubricating oil level is
correct. The sump must be filled to the
'full' mark on the dipstick; do not overfill.
Machines before 1988
Not fitted with TS engines: Read
carefully the relevant Engine Operator's
Handbook supplied with the mixer before
any attempt is made to use the machine.
