Re-assembly of the mixer
(when packed for shipping)
Unpacking
Remove the hopper which is inverted on
the hopper cradle. The contents of the
hopper can then be removed, i.e.
a Four pneumatic tyred wheels.
b One discharge drum mouth.
c One anti-bounce bracket & tie bar.
d One hydraulic jack.
Remove the water tank from the rear of
the machine.
Remove from the pallet the remaining
items i.e.
a Four stub axle assemblies.
b Four jacking leg assemblies.
c One set of water tank controls.
d One set of drum and gearbox controls.
e One set of nuts, bolts and various
fixings.
f Dragline winch assembly.
Remove the towbar from the control side
of the machine.
Re-assembly
a Release the mixer from the base of the
packing and raise up high enough to fit
the stub axles, wheels, anti-bounce
equipment and jacking legs.
b Bolt the hopper in the correct position
on the hopper cradle.
c Fit the water tank to the top of the
dragline and water tank supports above
the drum housing.
d Secure and link up the water tank
controls, and the drum and gearbox
controls.
e Check drum clutch adjustment.
f Bolt the discharge drum mouth onto the
drum.
g Fix the towbar with the two drop end
pins.
h If a dragline is fitted, some of the
smaller items of the assembly will be
found packed on the pallet.
i If weigher equipment is fitted it should
be carefully checked and set up as
shown in the Service section of this
manual. Its accuracy should be verified
by using a known weight.
j If removed for shipping, refit the
dragline assembly and winch motor.

parts illustrations at the rear of this
handbook.
Transportation of the mixer
Welded to the mixer are lifting points.
These are provided to assist with loading
or unloading the mixer and for
transportation across site.
For mixer weights, see
"Specifications"
Never carry mixers by their lifting points
on public roads.
Do not tow mixers across uneven ground.
Do not tow mixers at speeds in excess of
5 mph (8kph).
The ground on which the mixer stands
must be level and stable.
