Refrigerant.
WARNING
● Do not use means to accelerate the defrosting process or to clean, other
than those recommended by the manufacturer.
● The appliance shall be stored in a room without continuously operating
ignition sources (for example: open ames, an operating gas appliance, or
an operating electric heater).
● Do not pierce or burn. Be aware that ammable refrigerants may not
contain an odor.
● Use caution when handling and storing to prevent damage to the unit.
● Do not drill or poke holes in the unit under any circumstances.
● Maintenance and repair should only be conducted by trained, licensed
technicians certied to work with ammable refrigerants. Any person who
is involved with working on or breaking into a refrigerant circuit should
hold a valid certicate from an industry-accredited assessment authority,
which authorizes their competence to handle refrigerants safety in
accordance with an industry recognized assessment specication.
RISK OF FIRE OR EXPLOSION. This unit contains a
newer refrigerant called R32 that has a lower Global
Warming Potential than older refrigerants like R410A.
It is a ammable refrigerant and has special safety
precautions and advisories that must be followed:

● Servicing shall only be performed as recommended by the equipment
manufacturer. Maintenance and repair requiring the assistance of other
skilled personnel shall be carried out under the supervision of the person
competent in the use of ammable refrigerants.
● If not maintained and cleaned properly, the refrigeration, mechanical, and
electrical systems can all be damaged.
● The unit should be installed and stored in an area with proper ventilation.
The airow (front, back, and sides) should not be blocked.
● Do not store in a room with any open ame appliances (i.e. furnaces, gas
water heaters, etc.).
● Do not store in a room with electrical heaters.
● Store carefully and in a safe place to prevent damage to the refrigerant
tubing.
● Do not store if the unit is damaged. Fix the unit before storing.
● Dispose of the air conditioner in accordance with Federal and local
regulations. Flammable refrigerants require special disposal procedures.
Contact your local authorities for instructions on safe disposal of your air
conditioner.
