Turn off the host computer.
n
Plug the printer end of the USB cable into the USB connector port on the
printer (A).

Route the cable from the printer as shown on the following page to
provide strain relief.
n
Plug the computer end of the USB cable into the computer. Make sure the
USB symbol on the connector is facing up when you plug it in.
After you have completed setting up the printer, you can install the USB
driver onto the host computer.
