Take the new ribbon

cassette out of its

packaging. Make sure

thattheribbonisnot

slack ➀.

Press the ribbon

cassette into the

holder until you feel it

engage ➁.

Please make sure that

the ribbon is taut.

Tear off the surplus receipt paper and shut the paper compartment cover.

The POS system is now ready for operation again.

Please make sure never to print without an inserted ribbon.

Clearing paper jams

If you should need, for example, to clear the paper compartment of residu-

al paper, open the receipt and journal guide as follows:

Lift up the paper com-

partment cover to ac-

cess the com-

partments for the pa-

per rolls.

The printing mecha-

nism is now accessi-

ble. Remove the

journal paper spool.
