Changing the print head
Switch off the device.
Caution! The print head may be hot. If so, let it cool for a
few minutes.
Flip open the paper
compartment cover ➊
and the tear-off device
➋. The print head is
under this metal cover.
You can now remove
the ribbon cassette.
To disengage the print
head, push the small
black lever to the right.
You can now lift the
print head and discon-
nect the cable. The
connection is very
secure.
Take the new print
head, connect the
cable (by inserting the
cable precisely into
the guide on the print
head), and press the
print head into the
holder. When you hear
a click, you know that
the print head has
engaged.
