Ensure that the settings of the new hard disk are correct. It may also be
necessary to change settings in the BIOS (see the manual for the
motherboard).
Ca re ful ly pla ce the
car rier on the top
surfa ce.
Make sure that the
ope ning in the
me tal rail is cor res-
pon ding to the clip
of the disk car rier
(see il lu stra ti on).
Insert the drive carrier and connect both cables to the hard disk. Carefully
swing the drive carrier back and push it back towards the rear wall of the
housing until it engages.
It is absolutely necessary to ensure that cables are not pinched. Otherwise,
this could prevent the drive carrier from being closed correctly.
Finally, attach the housing cover and push it to the rear until the green lug
engages. Attach the cable cover.
