Infrared Touch Screen (Option)
General
The infrared (IR) technology is based on the interruption of a grid of IR light
beams before the surface of a screen. The touch frame contains a row of
infrared light emitting diodes (LEDs) and photo transistors, each mounted
on two opposite sides to create a grid of invisible infrared light. The screen
is made of frames. The electronic is concealed behind an infrared-
transparent bezel, which allows the infrared beams to pass through.
