Using Quick Heal Total Security
Quick Heal Total Security can be accessed from the desktop in any of the following ways:
• By clicking Start -> Programs -> Quick Heal Total Security -> Quick Heal Total Security from the desktop.
• By double-clicking the Virus Protection icon on the system tray.
• By right-clicking the Virus Protection icon on the system tray and clicking Quick Heal Total Security.
• By clicking Start -> Run, typing Scanner and pressing the Enter key.
Quick Heal Total Security, with its all new Graphical User Interface (GUI), is designed with the focus to simplify the task of securing
your PC.
The Main Window or the Dashboard will serve as the interface to all the features of Quick Heal Total Security. You can also access
the Dashboard and certain features of Quick Heal Total Security from the Windows system tray. Quick Heal protects the entire
system even with the default settings. You can start Quick Heal Total Security to check the status of Quick Heal protection, to
manually scan, to view reports and update the product.
About Quick Heal Dashboard
The dashboard is split into three sections. They are:
• Quick Heal Protection Center
• Quick Access Features
• Quick Heal Menus
Quick Heal Protection Center provides indication of the security status of Quick Heal Total Security with the help of colored icons.
The colored icons and their specific meaning are as follows:
Green This indicates that Quick Heal Total Security is configured with optimal settings
and your system is protected.
Red This indicates that Quick Heal Total Security is not configured with optimal
settings and your immediate attention is needed. The action corresponding to
the message needs to be executed immediately to keep your system protected.
Orange This indicates that a feature of Quick heal Total Security needs your attention, if
not immediately, but at the earliest.
