TO UNLOAD CHAMBER AND
MAGAZINE - Place the manual hammer
stop in the "on"
position (Figure 2) by
pushing it from left to right. Next, with the
gun pointed in a safe direction and your
finger off the trigger, swing the finger lever
downward removing the cartridge from the
chamber. Then proceed to operate the
finger lever in the same manner transferring
all the remaining cartridges from the
magazine to the chamber and out.
IMPORTANT - Always visually check and
know for sure that your gun is not loaded
by viewing both the chamber and the
magazine through the open action.
SIGHT ADJUSTMENTS - Your firearm
can be adjusted to shoot higher by moving
the rear sight elevator backward by one or
more notches. In order to shoot lower. the
elevator can be moved forward (Figure 6).
By gently tapping the rear sight base
(where fastened to the barrel) to the right,
your gun will shoot more to the right. An
adjustment to the left can be made by
tapping the base to the left. If necessary,
an additional elevation adjustment can be
made by loosening the two (2) small
screws securing the rear sight blade to the
rear sight base. Move the blade up or down
and tighten the screws.
Care should be taken not to mar finish or
bend sights when adjustments are made. A
brass or fiber hammer is preferred for this
I operation.

SIGHT ADJUSTMENTS - Your gun can
be adjusted to shoot higher by loosening
the two small screws on the back of the leaf
and moving the blacte up one or more lines.
In order to shoot lower, the blade can be
lowered. Retighten the screws when
finished with adjustment. (Figure 7).

fond la barre de la gauche vers la droite
(Fig. 2). Ensuite, la carabine etant pointee
dans une direction sans danger et votre
dOlgt hors de la detente, pivotez Ie levier de
sous-garde vers Ie bas, ce qui enlEwe la
cartouche de la chambre. Continuez de la
meme fayon pour transferer toutes les
cartouches du magasin vers la chambre et
pour les ejeter ensuite.
IMPORTANT - Controlez visuellement Ie
magasin et la chambre en ouvrant Ie
mecanisme pour etre certain que votre
carabine n'est pas chargee.
REGLAGE DE LA HAUSSE - Votre arme
peut etre reg lee pour tirer plus haut
en reculant Ie curseur d'une ou plusieurs
encoches. Pour tirer plus bas, poussez
Ie curseur vers I'avant (Fig. 6).
En tapant legerement sur I'embase de la
hausse (montee sur Ie canon) vers la droite,
vous ferez tirer votre fusil plus it droite. Si
vous voulez tirer plus a gauche, tapez
legerement sur I'embase de la hausse vers
la gauche.
Si necessaire, une elevation supple menta ire
peut etre obtenue en desserrant les deux
(2) vis qui fixent la planchette de la hausse.
Soulevez ou abaissez-Ia et resserrez les
vis. Prenez soin de ne pas rayer Ie finissage
de votre fusil ni de deformer la hausse.
Utilisez de preference un marteau en laiton
ou en fibre.

REGLAGE DE LA HAUSSE - Pour Ie
reglage vertical du tir il suffit de desserrer
les deux (2) petites vis situees a I'arriere de
la hausse et faire glisser la planchette de la
hausse d'une ou de plusieurs lignes vers Ie
haut pour tirer plus haut, ou vers Ie bas
pour tirer plus bas. Resserrez les vis
(Fig. 7). Pour Ie reglage horizontal procedez
com me suit: pour tirer plus adroite.
deplacez la hausse vers la droite en don-
nant des petits coups de marteau sur
I'embase de la hausse (utilisez de prefe-
rence un marteau en fibre ou en laiton pour
ne pas la rayer ou la deformer). Pour
obtenir un tir plus agauche. procedez en
sens contraire.
