General Use Instructions
DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT IF YOU HAVE NOT READ OR DO NOT
UNDERSTAND THE WARNINGS, SAFETY MEASURES AND
FIRST AID INSTRUCTIONS PRINTED ON CONTAINER. FOR BEST
RESULTS, DO NOT APPLY THE ADHESIVE AT TEMPERATURES
BELOW 65˚F.
Assemble all parts at or above 65˚F. Allow all substrates to
acclimate to room temperature for 48 hours before bonding.
Ensure all substrates are clean and dry.
Shake can well and select a spray pattern by rotating the spray
button to H (wide fan), M (medium fan) or L (narrow fan). Fine
tune the spray pattern by rotating the spray nozzle (not spray
button) slightly to vertical or horizontal.
• Hold can 6-7 inches from the surface when spraying and apply
uniformly to both surfaces in a smooth, evenly distributed pattern.
Cover both surfaces and edges 100%.
Allow approximately 1-5 minutes to dry after application and
before bonding. When ready to bond, each surface of adhesive
should not transfer or “leg” to a firmly pressed fingertip.
If parts do not stick immediately, they have exceeded the
open time. Open time is approximately 15 minutes.
Over-dry parts can be reactivated by applying a light coat of fresh
adhesive on both parts.
Apply uniform downward pressure (30-40 psi minimum) over entire
bonded surface.
• Mechanical pressure (pinch rolling) is recommended, but a
correctly used 3” wide rubber J-roller is acceptable (use of a
wooden block or other hand rollers is not recommended).
• Immediate trimming and finishing is possible.
Usage Tips and Troubleshooting
Moisture from condensation (blushing) must be dried prior to bonding.
A dull appearance is a symptom of under coverage.
A very shiny appearance on a failed bond is a symptom of
inadequate assembly pressure and/or exceeding the open time.
Clean-up/Disposal
Clean finished product with WA 110 solvent to remove adhesive residue.
• Empty container may contain hazardous residue or flammable
vapors which may explode upon ignition. ALL pressure must be
removed from can prior to disposal.
Do not allow in any sewers, on the ground or into any body of water.
Dispose of waste in accordance with local regulations.
Contact local authorities for further guidance. Extremely flammable
volatile liquids and gas under pressure. Do not cut, puncture, drill,
grind or weld on or near this container.
