2.07 ACCESSORY MATERIALS
A. Substrate Repair Materials: Following products are acceptable for repairing damaged
high pressure decorative laminate or wood substrates:
1. J-B Weld

Wood Filler.
3. Bondo

All-Purpose Putty.
B. Substrate Cleaning Materials: Following products are acceptable; do not use a cleaner
that will leave an oily residue and do not use to thin adhesive products:

110 Adhesive Solvent.

121 Adhesive Cleaner.
3. Wilsonart

130 Low VOC Adhesive Solvent.
4. Wilsonart

131 Adhesive Cleaner. OTC compliant.

131A Adhesive Cleaner Aerosol. OTC compliant.
6. Windex

with ammonia.
7. Non-proprietary acetone, isopropyl alcohol, or denatured alcohol cleaning

EDITING NOTE: Select cleaning materials and self-edging adhesive material(s) to be used
for the project. Refer to the Laminate Design Detail Page on the Wilsonart website for
EDITING NOTE: Wilsonart RE-COVER Laminate is NOT recommended for kitchen
countertops adjacent to ranges or surface cooktops where temperatures may exceed 150 deg
F (66 deg C). Suitable installations are kitchen islands, bath vanities, and utility/work rooms.
