All cable terminations shall comply with the concerned local authorities
requirements.
1.08 TESTS
- The cables shall be factory tested in accordance with the applicable
standards, codes or recommendations.
- For each cable type, the following test certificates, providing tests have
been carried out shall be submitted to the Engineer for approval.
- Mechanical properties of insulation and sheathing components.
- Resistance to cracking.
- Pressure test at high temperature.
- Resistance to flame propagation.
Final tests shall be made at site and the following routine tests will be carried out
:
- Conductor resistance test.
- Insulation resistance.

A. Provide product data for each type of cable.
B. Shop floor drawings showing cable routes and method of laying, spacing
and space factor applied.

D. Provide samples of cable markers, cable ties etc
