Blower Accessor

Model No. 2303
The blower accessory is installed on top of the furnace and increases circulation of warm air through heated space. A
115V outlet adjacent to the furnace is required. The blower is equipped with a two-speed fan and automatic fan switch.
The blower is operated by using the factory equipped three-prong (grounding) plug and cord. When using the plug and
cord, for your protection against shock hazard, it must be plugged directly into a properly ground three-prong receptacle.
DO NOT CUT OR REMOVE THE PRONG. Refer to your furnace owner’s manual for additional information. Be sure
this accessory is of the type and design required for use with your furnace.
1. Turn off the electric power supply at disconnect switch, fuse box

or service panel before installation of the blower.
2. Mounting the Blower to the Furnace: Position the blower on top
of the furnace with rear flange of the blower cabinet behind the
furnace. This will place the back of the blower cabinet against the
wall surface. As shown in Figure 1.

1. Motor is thermally protected.
2. If any of the original wires as supplied
with the appliance must be replaced, it
must be replaced with (105°) or its
equivilant.
Total electrical load less than 3 AMPS.

3. Plug in the service cord.
4. Using the Fan Switch for Blower Settings: You must select
“On” for continuous blower operation or “Auto” for automatic
blower operation. When the blower is positioned on “Auto” the
furnace will heat up and the heat sensor switch will be activated.
The blower will continue to operate until the furnace cools down,
then the blower will shut off. The blower will not operate if the fan
switch is positioned to “Off(center) position.
