3. Now try to copy that selection. You see this error message:

4. Click OK to clear the message.

5. You cannot copy noncontiguous selections. Try to cut it instead. You see this similar

message:

6. Click OK to clear the message.

7. With the noncontiguous range selected, press Delete on your keyboard and the cells will

be cleared.

8. Click the Undo button to bring the deleted data back.

9. Try another noncontiguous selection:

a. Select the range A3:E4.

b. Holding down your Ctrl key, click cell B6.

c. Still holding the Ctrl key, select the range C7:D11.
