Use the graphical user interface. The Revit Structure GUI is an easy way to interact with
your computer in order to efficiently create your project model and documents.
Master It There are several ways to launch a single command in Revit Structure. List

Understand the types of elements in the modeling environment. In the modeling envi-
ronment, there are basic types of model and annotation elements that you use in the con-
struction of the virtual model and construction documents that you derive from the model.

lies, types, and instances. Use a structural column and give examples of each of these
four element properties.
Create and manage project views. Even though you are building a 3D model, most of the

story. Then you must derive the 2D and 3D views you will need for your construction docu-
ments. Each of these views must be able to display the model, and those display controls are
an essential subject to understand.

and elevations to match your company standards. Explain how to change the cut pattern
for Concrete Masonry units to a diagonal pattern and the surface pattern to 8
×8 block.
