Part I: The Basics
Standard tables can be inserted two ways:
Select Table
Insert Table. This summons the Insert Table dialog, shown in Figure 1 - 8 , which
allows you to set all of the core properties of the table prior to its insertion.

Click the Table tool on the standard toolbar and drag to visually select the initial number of rows
and columns, as shown in Figure 1 - 9 .
