You can set the default font and font size for all
of your workbooks. Click the Office button. A
menu appears. Click Excel Options in the lower-
right corner. The Excel Options dialog box
appears. Click Popular. In the Use this Font field,
select the font you want to use. In the Font Size
field, select the font size you want to use. Click
OK. The next time you open a workbook, it will
use the font and font size you selected.

Excel applies a font color to the
cells you selected.
ADD A BORDER
1 Click and drag to select the cells
you want to format.
2 Click the down arrow next to the
Borders button.
3 Click here and select a color.
4 Click to select a border style.
Excel adds a border to your cells.
If you want text to stand out, you can change
the font. If you want to adjust the size of your
text so it fits in a cell, you can adjust the font
size. You can click the down arrow next to the
Font field to change the font for the selected
range. Click the down arrow next to the Font
Size field to change the font size in the selected
range. You can also right-click and then use the
mini-toolbar to change the font and font size.
