SYMPTOM POSSIBLECAUSE SOLUTION

tea dispenser.
Adjusting rod on mixing valve
is turned in too far.
Openupthevalve1/4turn
counter clockwise.
Tea does not dispense from
faucet.
Water line is turned off.
Turn on the water line valve.
Onlywaterowsfromthe
faucet, no tea.
1.TeaconcentrateBIBisout
of product.
2.TheteaBIBlineiskinked.
3.TheteaBIBlineis
clogged.
4. The check valve in the tea
concentratelinemaybe
stuck closed.
5.Theadjustmentscrewmay
be turned in or closed.
1.Replacetheteaconcen-
trateBIB.
2. Trace the tea line and
straighten out kinked hose.
3.Blowouthosetoclean
blockage or replace with a
new hose.
4. Loosen the clamps and
remove the check valve.
Cleanorreplaceit.
5.Openthemixingvalveto
resumeproductow.
Faucetisdrippingconstantly. 1.Thefaucetseatcupmay
have solid particles that
are keeping the faucet
from sealing.
2.Theremaybeatearorcut
in the seat cup.
3.Waterpressuremaybe
too high.
1.Disassembleandclean
the seat cup (see cleaning
section).
2. Replacetheseatcup.
3.CallCURTISCAREfor
instructions on adjusting
the water regulator.
Finished tea is weak.
1. The mixing valve is out of
adjustment.
2. The product check valve
maybestuck.

increase tea concentrate

2.Removeandcleanthe
checkvalve.Makesure
check valve is installed
withcorrectowdirection.
