LOAD PRODUCT
Bag-In-Box
1.PlaceateaconcentratebagonthecounternexttotheTCCdispenser.
2. RemovethetopcoverfromtheTCCdispenserandpulloutthehosewiththeQCD
bag connector.
d. Graspingthebagconnector(asshowninLoadProduct,step6),pushtheslidingprobeallthewayintothe
bagspout.A“click”willbeheardwhenitisfullyinserted.
e. Oncethecleaningsolutionboxisconnected,openthedispensingvalveonthedispenserandrunliquid
through the valve until the sanitizer (clear liquid) is detected. The dispensing line is now clean.
f. Disengagethebagconnectorbysnappingtheconnectorprobeoutandremovetheconnectorfromthespout.
g. ReattachtheteaconcentrateBIB.
h. Opendispensingvalveondispenseruntilteaowsfreely.
WATER PRESSURE AND MIXING VALVE
Thepressureregulatorshouldrarelybechanged.Primarytaste/brixadjust-
mentsshouldbedoneviathemixingvalvebyturningtherodandtastingthe
nishedproduct.98%ofavoradjustmentsshouldbedoneinthismanner.
The purpose of the regulator is to provide uniform water pressure so the venturi-
stylemixingdevicecanproduceastableanduniformblendofconcentrateand
waterandalsotoprotectthehydraulicsofthedispensingunitfrom“linepres-
sure”.Itisnottheprimaryadjustmentforthebrixlevel.Fromourtesting,ithas
beenshownthatexactPSIonthegagedoesnotdirectlycorrelatetoabrixlevel
from unit to unit and from installation location to installation location.
Secondarily,iftheprimaryadjustmentdoesn’tprovidetheidealbrixlevel,call
CurtisCareforinstructionsonhowtoadjusttheregulator.Asarule,verylittletasteadjust-
ment is achieved via the pressure regulator.
CAUTION: Do Not Exceed 25 psi (static). Equipmentfailureorleakagewill
result.
