TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOM
POSSIBLECAUSE

DifcultyprimingtheTCCtea
dispenser.
Adjusting rod on mixing valve is turned
in too far.
Openupthevalve1/4turncounter
clockwise.
Tea does not dispense from
faucet.
Water line is turned off.
Turn on water line valve.
Onlywaterowingfromfau-
cet, no tea.
1.TeaconcentrateBIBisoutofproduct.
2.TheteaBIBlineiskinked.
3.TheteaBIBlineisclogged.
4. The check valve in the tea concen-
tratelinemaybestuckclosed.
5.Theadjustmentscrewmaybeturned
in or closed.
1.ReplacetheteaconcentrateBIB.
2. Trace the tea line and straighten out
kinked hose.
3.Blowouthosetocleanblockageor
replace with a new hose.
4. Loosen the clamps and remove the
checkvalve.Cleanorreplaceit.
5.Openthemixingvalvetoresume
productow.
Faucetisdrippingconstantly. 1.Thefaucetseatcupmayhavehard-
ened particles keeping the faucet
from sealing.
2.Theremaybeatearorcutinthe
seat cup.
3.Waterpressuremaybetoohigh.
1.Disassembleandcleantheseatcup
(see cleaning section).
2. Replace the seat cup.
3.CallCURTISCAREforinstructions
on adjusting the water regulator.
Finished tea is weak. 1. The mixing valve is out of adjust-
ment.
2.Theproductcheckvalvemaybe
stuck.
1.Openthemixingvalvetoincreasetea
concentrateow.
2. Remove and clean the check valve.
Makesurecheckvalveisinstalled
withcorrectowdirection.
Productowingfromthefau-
cetistoofoamyorbubbly.
1.Theclampsatthecheckvalvemay
not be tight.
2. TheclampontheQCDconnector
maybeloose.
3. Teaconcentrateproductmayhave
airintheBIB.
4.TheO-ringontheQCDiswornout.
1. Reconnect tubing and tighten clamps.
2.Makesurethebarbedendofthe
QCDttingispushedinonthehose
and the clamp is tight.
3.TurntheBIBsothettingfacesup-
ward and open the faucet until all the
bubbles are released.
4.ReplacethewornO-ringorinstalla
newQCD.
