Insert SABRE™ I product CD and from the SABRE™ I Main Setup Menu, select Software Utilities option

and follow instructions accordingly.

Firmware Upgrade

Please download the new firmware at the recommended web-site and save it in your PC/Laptop’s hard

drive. Select Firmware Upgrade to perform upgrade of the firmware. Make sure the Terminal is switched

ON and connected to the PC via Ethernet cable and then click on “RUN”.

Select the downloaded new firmware (with the file name extension “.sb1”, e.g., R001.1.0.sb1) and click

on “Start”. Firmware upgrade will take about 10 to 12 minutes to complete. So, please wait patiently until

the whole process is complete.

If you encounter any errors (such as timeout errors) during the firmware upgrade process, do not select

the retry option but restart the Terminal (by unplugging the power supply, removing the battery, putting

the battery back, re-plugging the power supply and then pushing the power switch), close and restart the

Firmware Upgrade Utility and then retry the firmware upgrade process from the beginning.
