The air conditioner has a 5° F temperature cushion; if the
set temperature is within 5 ° F of the ambient temperature, the fan will switch to low speed and
run approximately 5 minutes before it shuts off. The fan will activate again in approximately 15
minutes and run for 1 minute to circulate air in the room and detect the ambient room
temperature. If the room temperature is higher than 5° F of the set temperature, the compressor
will turn on and the fan will run in the set speed.
