Fluorescent Dyes
The software uses the general form of the Beer-Lambert equation to calculate fluorescent dye concentrations in the
Micro Array and Proteins & Labels applications. The user can choose to enter new dye types using the Dye/Chrom.
Editor or use one of the predefined dyes. A table of extinction coefficients for the predefined dyes is shown below:
