Internal Pump Mode and Drain Hose
Connection (optional)
The dehumidier can be set up to run continuously (depending
on selected humidity level) one of two ways:
1. Drain into a oor drain or other drain below the drain port on
the back of the dehumidier.
2. Drain to a remote drain up to 16 feet (5 m) above the height of
the dehumidier using the dehumidier’s internal pump.
The drain tting uses a standard garden hose connector.
NOTE: Use GHT or “garden hose thread”, which has an outer
diameter of 1

/16" (27 mm) and a pitch of 11.5 TPI (threads per
inch) or use the included drain hose kit.
1. Remove drain tting plug
Place the dehumidier on a level surface. Unscrew the cap on the
back of the unit to access the drain tting, and remove the drain
plug. Keep the drain plug in a safe place for reuse.
2. Install drain hose with included kit
If using the included drain hose kit, press the gasket into the large
end of the drain hose adapter. Then press the clear drain hose
rmly onto the small end of the adapter.
NOTE: You may also use a standard garden hose. Do not exceed
the recommended length for your installation type.

3. Drain to oor drain
Thread the hose clockwise securely onto the drain tting and
place the other end into a oor drain below the height of the drain
tting.
NOTE: To ensure proper drainage, hose length should not exceed
6 feet (2 m). Be sure there are no kinks in the hose.

3. Drain using internal pump
Thread the hose clockwise securely onto the drain port. Route
the hose to a suitable drain. Turn on the unit and press the PUMP
button. The Pump indicator will light.
NOTE: To ensure proper drainage, hose length should not exceed
50 feet (16 m). Water may be pumped to a height of up to 16 feet
(5 m) above the drain tting. Be sure there are no kinks in the
hose.
