Step 3 Select Water Temperature Press the appropriate button to select the wash and rinse temperatures. Follow the garment care label for best results. Use the chart at the right as a guide. Care labels define cold water as up to 85º F.
Operating Tips Chlorine Bleach Dispenser Fabric Softener Dispenser The dispenser automatically dilutes liquid chlorine bleach before it reaches your wash load. To use, follow these steps: This dispenser automatically releases liquid fabric softener at the proper time during the cycle. To use, follow these steps: 1. For best results, be sure detergent is added to the washer BEFORE the load and be sure wash water is above 65º F. • Put dry, unfolded clothes loosely in the tub, up to the top row of holes for a maximum load. • Do not wrap large items like sheets around the agitator.
Using the 30 Day Detergent Dispenser (select models) Filling Dispenser 1) Unscrew the dispenser fill cap (figure 1). 2) Pour in your favorite liquid detergent, up to 100 fluid ounces at one time. 3) Replace the dispenser fill cap. 4) Close the washer lid. 5) Open the washer lid. 6) Move the slide indicator all the way to the top (figure 1). Next, follow steps 7 and 8 to set the amount of detergent used for the average load.
To Remove the Dispenser for Cleaning 1) Support the bottom of the dispenser with one hand. Use a quarter and turn four slotted screws counter clockwise 1/4 turn (figure 1). 2) Pull the dispenser out from the bottom of the lid. 3) Remove fill cap. 4) Fill with water about half way. Move the dispenser from side to side to wash out detergent. 5) With the dispenser over a large sink or bath tub, turn it upside down to empty the water/detergent out of the dispenser fill area.
