5.4 Troubleshooting Using the Trouble LED Indicators on the PC
Board
The SP4-TZC PC board contains 2 status LED indicators (Green), 1 communication LED indicator (Green),
and 3 diagnostic LED indicators (Amber). Figure 18 shows the location of these LED indicators on the PC
board. If a trouble condition is detected, the amber “TROUBLE” LED indicator is ON.

• If the SP4-APS splitter is connected to the SP40, the “TROUBLE” and “AUDIO SHORT” LED
indicators on the SP40 will also be ON.
• If the SP4-APS splitter is connected to an audio booster, the “TROUBLE” and “AUDIO SHORT” LED
indicators on the audio booster will also be “ON”.
