3.6 SP4 Telzone Programmer Background Music Screen
The SP4 Telzone Programmer Background Music screen (Figure 15) is used to edit the zones programmed
for Background Music. The active zone boxes in white are programmed from the Logical Zone Group
screen when the “Number of Splitters” and the “Audio Class of wiring” are selected. A checkmark
in
the box indicate that zone will have Background Music. Clicking on the box toggles the checkmark on and
off.

3.6.1 Editing Background Music
Connect the USB cable and perform the setup steps in Section 3.5.2.1 on Page 29.
Select Background Music from the Zone Setup menu.
Click the desired zones for editing to toggle the check mark ON or OFF.
NOTE: By default, all zones are selected for Background Music. If customizing of the Background
Music Zone is desired, select Background Music from the Zone Setup menu. Clicking the
zones removes the check mark, preventing the broadcasting of the Background Music on those
zones. If Background Music is not desired on all zones click theClear All” command button.
When complete, click on the “Apply” command button. Click the “OK” command button.
The Background Music setup screen will close leaving the SP4 Telzone Programmer Main
Screen displayed.
Save the file by opening the File menu and “Save” as the current file name, or “Save As…
with a new name. If a new name is chosen notice that the File Name is changed to the new
name.
