Chapter 3 SP4 Telzone Programmer
Software
3.1 About the SP4 Telzone Programmer Software
The SP4 Telzone Programmer software is used to program the SP4-TZC Logical Zone Groups and the
Background Music (BGM) zones through the USB Port. A maximum of 9 Logical Zone groups can be
programmed using the SP4 Telzone Programmer software. Each can combine up to 5 Individual Zones
and/or Fixed Zone Groups.
Background Music can be programmed for each of the Individual Zones (maximum of 68). The Flash
memory on the SP4-TZC stores the Logical Zone Groups and Background Music configuration. When
programming has been accomplished, the SP4 Telzone Programmer software can be closed and the USB
cable removed. If changes are desired, connect the USB cable from the host computer to the SP4-TZC,
launch the SP4 Telzone Programmer software and make the changes.
The SP4 Telzone Programmer folder containing the files will be located on the hard drive of the computer
in the “Program Files” Folder, in the folder labeled “Wheelock”.
