westinghouse 7 BEFORE FIRST USE 1. Fill the rinse aid dispenser. 2. Open the water tap. 3. Processing residues can stay in the appliance. Start a program to remove them. Do not use detergent and do not load the baskets. FILLING THE RINSE AID DISPENSER Caution! Only use rinse aid for dishwasher. Other products can cause damage to the appliance. westinghouse The rows of prongs in the lower basket can be adjusted flat to load large dishes, pots, pans and bowls. LOADING THE CUTLERY BASKET Warning! Do not put long-bladed knives in a vertical position. Arrange long and sharp cutlery horizontally in the upper basket. Be careful with sharp items.
westinghouse 9 LOADING THE UPPER BASKET The upper basket is for plates, saucers, salad bowls, cups and glasses. Arrange the items to let water touch all surfaces. Put glasses with long stems in the cup racks with the stems up. For longer items, fold the cup racks up. 25 14 cm cm ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE UPPER BASKET If you put large plates in the lower basket, first move the upper basket to the upper position.

Carefully lift the two sides until the mechanism is engaged and the basket is stable. cm Follow these steps to move the upper basket to the lower position: 1. Pull the basket out until it stops. 2. Carefully lift the two sides upwards, the mechanism disengages. 3. Slowly guide the basket back down.
westinghouse 11 DAILY USE 1. Open the water tap. 2. Press the on/off button to activate the appliance. Make sure that the appliance is in setting mode, refer to “Setting and starting a program”. • If the rinse aid indicator is on, fill the rinse aid dispenser. 3. Load the baskets. 4. Add the detergent. 5. Set and start the correct program for the type of load and the degree of soil. USING THE DETERGENT A Caution! Only use detergent for dishwasher. Other products can cause damage to the appliance.

westinghouse 13 CARE AND CLEANING Warning! Before maintenance, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket. Dirty filters and clogged spray arms decrease the washing results. Make a check regularly and, if necessary, clean them. CLEANING THE FILTERS 1. Turn the filter (A) counterclockwise and remove it. westinghouse TROUBLESHOOTING The appliance does not start or it stops during operation. Before you contact the Service, refer to the information that follows for a solution to the problem. With some problems, the display shows an alarm code: • - The appliance does not fill with water. • - The appliance does not drain the water. • - The anti-flood device is on. Problem You cannot activate the appliance. Possible solution Make sure that the mains plug is connected to the mains socket.

westinghouse INSTALLATION FITTING UNDER A KITCHEN COUNTER The plinth of a freestanding appliance is not adjustable. Do not remove the appliance worktop if you want to use it as a freestanding unit. It is not necessary to remove the worktop when installing under a standard kitchen counter. Only remove the appliance worktop to install it under a close fitting sink unit or kitchen counter (820 mm). 1. Put the appliance adjacent to a water tap and a water drain. 2.
