Air Filter Status Indicator

The air filter status indicator, located on the control panel’s display screen, will
help you know when to change your air filter.
See “Install Air Filter” for replacing instructions.
■ After changing the air filter, reset the status indicator by pressing and holding the RESET ALARM
button for 3 seconds. Note: Reset can only be performed when the icon is RED (not orange).
When the system is reset, the air filter status indicator icon will disappear from the display screen.

Customers should purchase extra AIR filters at point of sale if
possible. Also available via the Whirlpool Contact Centre.
■ When the air filter is in GOOD CONDITION, the air filter status indicator icon
does not appear on the control panel.
■ When the control panel’s air filter status indicator ICON appears in
ORANGE, it means it is almost time to change the AIR FILTER
It is recommended to order a replacement filter when the orange icon appears.
■ Replace the air filter when the air filter status indicator icon changes from
ORANGE to RED. The filter should be replaced at least every 6
months.
Note: You cannot RESET the indicator when the icon is ORANGE!
You must wait until it is RED.
